Residential Architecture

Incorporated in 1924, Flossmoor has some of the best historic housing in the Chicago suburbs.  Notable architects include Frank Lloyd Wright, Purcell and Elmslie, Goldberg and Keck & Keck.

Civic Center

Built in 1929, the Civic Center is Downtown Flossmoor's anchor.  It's Tudor style is replicated throughout older Flossmoor neighborhoods.  Combining retail, dining and residential options, it is the original "Lifestyle Center".

Flossmoor Station

Built in 1906 when there were 6 finished homes in Flossmoor.  Beautifully restored and converted into a Brewhouse in 1996.  A historic building that brings people together in Downtown Flossmoor.
